The annual BCS SPA Software in Practice conference brings together experts and practitioners to share the latest thinking in software development.

Now in its 25th year, we intend to continue our tradition of a highly interactive event, but in an entirely online format this year.

​

We seek out conference sessions that bring people together to work and learn and most sessions are highly interactive, involving participants and session leaders on an equal footing. This results in a conference like no other and consistently excellent feedback from all those who attend.

We have an excellent programme for the conference, including the following interactive discussions and online sessions:

• How do IT professionals intervene in potentially harmful situations? Discuss the latest research on ethics and information technology with Lucy Hunt

• Build a functional, event sourced architecture with Uberto Barbini and Asad Manji

• Discover security requirements with Charles Weir

• Learn how to achieve agility at scale by growing your ways of working internally, experimenting-learning-adapting-evolving with Giovanni Asproni and Luca Minudel
