Lauren L’ecaros is a university lecturer with a track record of more than 10 years in undertaking comparative research in Western Europe. Trained in France, she is an urban planner with substantive expertise in the fields of urban and economic geography. Lauren is interested in assessing the forms of resilience of groups of individuals and communities in a context of disturbances and pressures. She is also looking at the policies and governance process of urban and economic regeneration and broadly the understanding of the role of (temporary) creative uses and intermediaries in shaping and transforming spaces.
