A veteran software developer with over 25 years of experience, I'm a long standing contributor to the open source Apache Qpid messaging community, first contributing in 2006.

In previous existences I've written system software for research labs, a startup, Operating System vendors and a large European bank.

My primary expertise is in low level coding close to the machine and in network protocol implementations. Usually in C or C++, but with wide experience in a whole bunch of higher level languages too.
