The session will be very low tech and based on the BBC's question time. The format is very good for generating debate and is a lot of fun. Question time relies heaviliy on audience participaction. The questions will be chosen from a selection put forward by Spa atendees.

Here is the format copied from the original proposal:

This session will see a number of panelists answer pre-set questions as well as random queries from the audience.

Each question is time-boxed to ten minutes in order to guarantee the diversity of questions answered. A chair person will manage the debate and ensure proper audience participation and that each panelist gets a point of view across.

The objective is to generate heated, enthusiastic and diverse discussion about how best to improve software within our own organisations and where are we going as an industry/engineering dicipline. Additionally, we hope the format will act as an ice breaker and source of fun for participants.

However, this should not detract from the seriousness of this session.
